elsie flannigan has her sketches posted on her blog.....amazing stuff....cannot wait to get a free minute to play with these. they just scream fun.
also i'm dying over the february story of my own kit. so jealous that kristen got her hands on it. maybe i'll be able to distract her & steal it the next time we scrap together. just love the colors, the patterned paper with the branches, the limited edition stamps, the ribbon, the velvet letters, the chipboard scalloped heart...it is all sooooo pretty! can't wait to see what judi does with the kit....she is on the design team of the site & is mad talented. so if i'm a tinge green the next time you see me, now you know why.....
but don't shed any tears for me, i did get the new cocoa daisy kit for feb....black tie pool party....LOVE this one...can't wait till it is in my mailbox...it will be a good mail day indeed! ellyn got hers already & told me it is jam packed...can't wait! yipee!!! & ya know....these papers & stuff would look awesome using some of elsie's sketches....hmmmmm i may have just stumbled onto something...ooooh this is going to be good, & fun, & messy.
in other news....i got a sample of this
i've been using the glue stick...a lot....& it is really good. really like the fact that you can actually open it (unlike the other glue sticks that i have that require me to get a rubber grippee from the kitchen to open it up) & it goes on really well & really smooth. i've been using it for my cards & it is doing a fine job. i just may have found my new brand of glue stick! hooray!!!
the twist & glue is pretty cool too. really like the applicator b/c you can dispense the glue in a thin line if you need a bit of precision or you can twist the applicator to dispense the glue in a broad stroke for more coverage. pretty ingenious & i have found it pretty handy in tacking down my american crafts felt flowers, ribbon & the various other things of varied sizes that find their way into my chipboard creations. laurie borrowed it the other night to get the glue in the folds of the binding of her mini album. we were having a heck of a time fooling with folded double stick tape & glue dots. this did the trick quite easily. if you would like some more info @ this, definitely visit this uhu blog & maybe you'll be able to try some out for yourself!
so....now that i'm all pumped w/ creative energy...time to put the kids down for a nap so i can get to it! yeah....right!! lolololololol!!
happy wednesday!! gi

I agree that Cocoa Daisy kit is amazing. In fact, I think I might order it too! Love that other kit, where did it come from? Can't wait to see what you create.
