emily's challenge for this week was to choose a symbol that you love. well, as a new yorker...this was a no-brainer....gotta be old glory.....i love our country's flag....always have and always will. this week's journaling was especially tough...so hard to put how i felt into words....it still is, and will always be, so close to my heart.....
as you can see, i tried emily's image transfer technique on this. i really wanted that look here and it really worked out well...so much better than i could have hoped. gonna definitely use that technique again..

Wow. This card is so incredible. Not only because it's beautiful but also because it's so....powerful! You certainly captured how I felt after that event. Could not even imagine the emotion you must have experienced being that close to the smell, sounds, and people!!!! Wow.
