geez...i hope for lots....tons of hopes swirling up in my head...
little ones like "i hope i can get a white hot chocolate today"
big ones like "i hope i can give my children the necessary tools to become good people"
my mind races all over the place when i start to do the rundown of all my hopes & dreams...
"i hope we can get the garden together for next year"
"i hope we are doing the right thing by putting the kids in private school"
"i hope i can get myself to the gym b/c my jeans are getting a little tight"
"i hope i get to see some of my overseas friends at CHA winter"
"i hope i can make those little birdies sarah showed me"
& usually all of this comes at me at 2 o'clock in the morning...lol....
so this week's word at onelittleword is HOPE....& i knew what i had to do...
the New Year is coming & i seized the opportunity...
so i sat & wrote & got it all out....all of those hopes...
the huge ones that make my heart swell and the small ones that just make me smile....
some things i WANT to do...
some things i WANT TO WANT to do....
i laid it all out...put it all down on paper...
tucked it all in that envelope & tied a pretty polka dot bow to seal it...
somehow the putting it on paper was very refreshing & felt almost more real somehow....
i am putting it all out there to the universe....
i'm taking stock....who i am right now and where i want to go...
i think i've gotta do that more often...
actually sit & write down the hopes that lie in my heart...
HOPE you have a happy day!!!!!

GREAT idea!
not to sound cliche but i *hope* your hopes come true!
throw those thoughts out to the universe. be a magnet for good things. for things you want and things you want to happen.
i'll send some good vibes your way :-)

Love this idea Gi - and this is the stuff that I want to know about my Mother. What her hopes and dreams were at different times in her life. I think it's so cool that you have it down on paper for yourself to look back on and for your children to gain some insight into you as a person when they look back and read it when they're older. Love love love this one!
