i so enjoyed my wee bit of summer in so. cal for cha...
but the second i landed at JFK i was smacked w/ winter...again :)
4 inches of snow, ice...cold...yuck!
i started to get used to that 80 degree california weather...lol
& i officially suck at taking pictures places...
i took like 10...lol....seriously....what kind of scrapbooker am i????

soooo much good stuff to be had from them that's for sure!!
but it was awesome to see a's stuff up close...she is a master for sure :)

hands down my favorite booth/place at the show was the golden booth...
sooooooo awesome....
i need to place an order BIG TIME for some of those fluid acrylics
& the book altered surfaces by chris cozen...what a wonderful artist who was incredibly generous sharing her techniques & tips....seriously....i mean check that out up above!!!! AWESOME!!!
& as for my faves from the show:
sassafrass lass...hands down my fave of the show...i...must...have...it....ALL!!!
maya road....awesome as always...need that new black sheer mini tab book & the new bigger shapes
october afternoon....the colors & patterns for their new lines are my fave....LOVE this stuff
hambly...LOVE their new frame rub ons...LOVE
bam pop....super cool new line coming out & i NEED their new alpha stamps & oval frame stamp
fontwerks...one of my all time faves...love the new sets they have coming out & i finally got orangewhip at our visit to scrapbook oasis:)
it was awesome to hang with my ker & jj & michelle & gretchen & sarah & becky...
also got to see the amazing kellicrowe & insanely talented allison again
got to meet the wonderful amy tan, super sweet kim, so cool erin, beautiful dina, hilarious martha, gorgeous maria grace, super cute elsie, , awesome jamie, very british & sweet kirsty
i could sit here & link all day :)
met lots of awesome women at the SIStv party at the pizza shop...was definitely a highlight of the trip...had an awesome time with crystal, toni, marcia, laura, erin, suzy, shell, darcy, judi, & all the girls that were there...so much fun to sit & talk & laugh & cry with such an amazing group of women...wish we could get together more often :)
ok...the kids are loosing it....i'll have to continue this later :)

Gigi! I love this post...even if you feel like you missed out on some pics. Your thoughts and favs and fun projects posted are awesome. I'm so jealous that you soaked up some sun and heat! But I am glad you got to check out so much great product. And I'm especially happy that you got to hang out with 'old friends' and make lots of new ones! You so DO NOT suck at taking pics....we can fix those images in a snap in Photoshop..it's the weather tha does SUCK! LOl One day 60F, the next 12F, the next ice & snow...YUCK.

Thanks for sharing what you DID photograph at CHA. ;0) I still haven't had the chance to go...lack of babysitter while the hubs is deployed. Sounds like you had a ton of fun! And, Maya Road was my absolute FAVE out of everything I have seen on the internet. Lots of fun new stuff!
