larry david & curb your enthusiasm....i was reading kate's blog & she reminded me how much i love that show...

so we got the 1st season at blockbuster the other day & popped it in last night
SOOOOO funny...
ahhh...cracks me up every time...never fails

made this little ditty for a pal...sent it out on friday...can't wait till she gets it :)

i have SO much creating to do today...
but i think i need to sit & read some Home Companion first to get in the mood
i've been so inspired by magazines lately..

i'm sending this to a very sweet person who i thought of immediately when i saw this word...hope she likes it :)

had a fantastic creating session w/ beth last week...she hooked me up w/ a really cool separated page protector as well as some other goodies...and since i'm always obsessed with boden & lately have been  obsessed with narrowing down what i'm buying the girls for summer...i'm trying desperately not to over-buy like i do every single time...buy only what they will use & love & leave the rest at the store...wish me luck w/ that one...i've got a major weakness for kids clothes, especially kids clothes on sale....eeeek!!!

tater is SOOOO getting that strawberry dress on the bottom...seriously...cutest thing EVER!

& here is a layout i did for ker's frameworks class w/ the new collection at SIS (which by the way...VIV BONDER is the guest designer!!!  GO VIV!!!!!!!!  ***coughcoughcheckoutheretsyshoppecoughcough***)

yeah...told you it would be a mismash :)

so honored...

to be the guest challenger at scrappedugnad today!!!!

my challenge is to:  dig into those supplies & create something to decorate your home or office....something that you will see every day & something that will make you happy & remind you of your inner artist.

you can see it in detail here....i covered some Technique Tuesday circular tiles with some of the SIStv Harvest Function patterned paper, embellished with some lace butterflies that i had been saving forever (another strike against my inner hoarder) and strung together with ribbon... i hung this on mike's armoire door...so he sees it every day & it is a little reminder how much i love him....i know...i'm a cheeseball :)

& finally....on a completely other note...

today is Good Friday...
& in light of today & what it means to me i wish you all peace

or the lack of sleep

need some get up & go
need some energy

just can't put my finger on it...

maybe i need to make something...

i got tired of painting w/ the brush & wound fingerpainting them
& then stapling flowers all over them...
at the end they sung of summer

sweet erin tagged me...& since i like her so much i'll oblige :)

& also b/c i'm itching to make a mini book w/ the newest collection to launch on monday at SIS...
so now i have some fodder...lol

1.  i am currently obsessed with the tim tam crush toffee nut bars that sharmaine sent me...seriously...
2.  i will do just about anything to get more of the aforementioned tim tam crush ;)
     to say i'm addicted now is putting it extremely mildly
3.  i prefer to say shops rather than mall so i sound more like lola
4.  i love to toast my bread for my PB & J
5.  i have an empty china closet that my in-laws pushed off the streets of Brooklyn 35 years ago sitting empty in my dining room...i have no use for it nor do i have room for it, but for some reason can't bear to see it go

6.  i think i actually may be only 5'3" but i've never come to grips with that & continue to tell everyone that i'm 5'4 1/2"
7.  i have no problem dropping $500 in one fell swoop on clothes for my kids, but bristle at the thought of paying more than $20 for a T-shirt for myself....hmmm...maybe i'll break this habit on this :)
i think i adore that color mostest of all...& it would look great w/ jeans ;)

eta...found another one of my fave aussie gals has some FANTASTIC easter projects running on her blog...DEFINITELY check out fiona's amazing stuff!!!!

& i kept thinking & thinking about what the heck i was gonna do for it...

& then i looked up the definition of the word & learned it meas to come upon, as if by accident

& i kept thinking....
& i kept coming back to the series of crazy events that has brought 3 of my favorite people into my life...
it all was as if by accident

it all started a year ago when at midnight the night before the deadline i stumbled onto kelli darr's blog
& saw a call for the DT for Scrap In Style TV...
& i thought....eh?  what the hell! 
& filled out the application & sent my work in...
little did i know how that click of a mouse would truly change my life in so many ways...

now a year later these 3 women, who i met as part of this experience, have become such a precious and important part of my life...
even tho we live so separated from each other scattered all over the country...
even tho we come from completely different walks of life...
even tho we are so different in so many ways...

but we've connected in such a special way that has truly touched my life
ker...becs...becca
they have become 3 of my closest friends
& i treasure them
& i am incredibly grateful for the happenstance that brought them into my life

i totally overcommitted myself
