to my true blue friends...those amazing women who have e-mailed me & called me & gone above & beyond for me this week & have given me the benefit of the doubt because THEY KNOW ME...because they could see through the muddy waters & still KNEW ME...

& i don't think i ever will be able to repay you for how full my heart really was this week...
how really happy i am today...
it is because of my family...it is because of my REAL friends....

once upon a time,
when once upon and land befores mattered, and the world was full of magic and meaning,
and flower blossomed full of creativity and wonder.
picked before its time, and placed in a basket with the prickly primrose, the proud pansies, and other dainty delicates that were drawn to its radiance, they coveted this flower and she began to fade and wilt. as it lay dying, so did people's hopes and dreams and aspirations to be better in all ways that mattered.
It happened that this basket of blooms was spotted by someone still innocent, who still cherished and believed in happily ever afters. She saw the dangers of picking from this basket, with the imposing thorns, the wicked weeds, eager to choke and strangle all that was good and kind, yet on a whim she chose that one flower, withered and withdrawn and replanted it in a new garden, of hope, of love, of sweet promises of better tomorrows.
and there, like the magic that made this flower, it began to take root and blossom.
the light came back to its petals,
the sweet scent of serenity surrounded it and filled the air with its fragrant kiss.
and hope returned to the world.
and the sun again shone, with warm rays of affection and direction, toward a path of prosperity.
the innocent little imp sat back and smiled,
knowing that it would indeed get better.
~the end.
~ I am glad you are taking root, finding comfort, and once again, beginning to bloom.
( i do not know your email.. so i am forced to simply blog stalk and bother you..)but that doesnt change the fact that you have been in my heart and my head.

Wow, Gigi. I had no idea anything was going on...I haven't spent much time on the computer lately. But, I had lunch with a scrapbooking friend this afternoon, and she asked me if I had heard anything about what was going on. After scanning the internet, I still really don't know what happened, but I don't care. I just want to let you know that you were always my favorite Fashionista, and you were always very supportive of my work. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. You'll always have a fan in me. Keep on creating because you are ONE INSPIRING LADY!

Did I ever tell you that is an honor to be your FRIEND?
Did I ever tell you that your FRIENDSHIP has made my little corner of this insane world a much sweeter place?
Did I ever tell you how lucky I am to have you as a FRIEND and in my life?
Did I ever tell you that your integrity & honesty astounds me?
Did I ever tell you that "one time in Law School" I met a girl named Gigi and it wasn't until I met her that I realized that we were BOTH on the cusp of something? It was then that I suddenly realized I was no longer alone? And, neither was she. :)

Gigi- it was soooo good to meet you. I have heard only good things about your class (wish I could have taken it). Sorry to hear about the drama. Not sure what is going on. Not my place to ask though, so I will just send you a hug!!!!
Hang in there. You rock!

Gigi, we don't know eachother, but I have always really liked you from afar... thanks for playing bingo and my games and I loved that layout you had published about the New England house at Halloween.
Thanks for all you've done.
