new word up over at onelittleword....
this time it is lynn's turn...i really love her work & as you could probably tell, i am becoming increasingly enchanted with that gorgeous vintage style....& lucky me, i still have lots from my kenner road kit to play with...so here is what i came up with :)
i have another layout in my head for this word...totally spurred on when i heard landslide by fleetwood mac in the truck the other day....
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life
Well, Ive been afraid of changing
cause Ive built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
Im getting older too
**sigh**....that is exactly where i am right about now...definitely the children getting older thing (lately evidenced by all the clothing that i've been packing up b/c their little bodies have grown so much) & the me getting older too (yep...check...my 36th birthday is around the corner)...i'm really working on "sailing" through the changing ocean tides around here...trying not to get too caught up in the miscellany that at times leaves me frazzled & stressed, preoccupied with all the wrong things that in the big picture don't amount to a hill of beans....
i'm working on enjoying every second (as usual...my lifelong quest basically) & welcoming & embracing what is next....
i'll keep at it :)
happy wednesday!!!
xoxoxo

I can so relate Gi to all you have said here. And I too am loving vintage distressed styles at the moment. Can't wait for my Kenner Road to arrive so I can have a play too.

I have always loved that song. Love, love, love. It always leaves me a little misty-eyed, so I spared myself from watching your video. LOL. Your LO for OLW turned out wonderfully!

Fantastic layout Gi! And that song always gets to me. I heard it few days ago on the radio too. I prefer the Fleetwood Mac version the best. Packing up the old clothes always tugs at my heartstrings too! Hang in there!
