word up over at onelittleword...
& this word couldn't have come at a better time.....
i've been thinking about it so much these past 2 weeks...with all this time slipping through my fingers business, it's been constantly on my mind to live IN this very moment...LOVE NOW...EMBRACE what i've got right here in front of me right this minute...a constant challenge for me b/c i tend to dwell on what was before & then sprinkle in a bit of worry about what will be in the future...
but to LOVE NOW...to relish in the amazing gift of this very minute...everyday...
i've got a new little mantra...
i will LOVE NOW...
not put it off for tomorrow...
but actively, LOVE NOW...
right this very minute...
eyes wide open...
i will LOVE NOW
that's my goal & one i will continue to strive for it every single day...
so to help me along the way i created this book...
and i used gifts from my wonderful & insanely generous & kind friends to do it...(fabric, handmade flower & album- ronda, white pom pom - beth, blue purple vintage velvet ribbon - michelle, blue pom pom - jayney, sheet music - ker & the star is from our weekend at silver bella last year & she also taught me how to make those flowers)
it reminds me that i have such a great friends...so it totally makes me happy...
so, inside i'm going to record those little moments...those big little things...
in an easy peasy lemon squeezy, no pressure way...
just write them down...savor them...our little everyday love...
because my mind is like a seive these days & because i know myself & know that if i'm going to keep up with capturing these moments it has to be quick b/c i've got cheerleading & laundry & soccer & CCD & school & scrap projects & vacuuming & library trips & market runs & yadda yadda yadda...
you get the idea...
so this pretty little book will be a constant reminder of those everyday spectacular, magical moments...
& i can read through & enjoy them...
and be more focused to fully embrace them as they come to me...each & every day i am blessed with...
i will LOVE NOW
hope you have a fantastic wednesday!!!
xoxo

I love everything E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. about that book! And, that purple/turquoise color combination was my favorite as a kid. Maybe I should revisit it in my creating. You're always such an inspiration! Thanks for sharing with us, Gi!
