today my little kitchen is getting demolished....
the duct-taped microwave will be gone...
the awful countertops will be history...
the gross stove will be trashed...
the funny thing is...as much as i've griped & complained about this crappy kitchen & yearned for a new one ever since we moved into this house 8 years ago...i'm kinda sad to see it go...guess i'm not such a big embrace-er of change like i thought...
hopefully these next 2 weeks of upheaval go quickly & i'll be baking Christmas cookies in my new oven soon...now i'm hungry...lol!
happy monday!!
xoxo

Oh that's exciting! Hope everything goes smoothly! We have built two homes from scratch and last year did renovation to the second house (freshing up after 15 years) and truthfully I would rather build than renovate! Ugh But I loved it when it was done!

You lucky girl!!!! I wish I was getting a new kitchen...instead I will continue to cook in my shoebox sized kitchen with pink (fake) marble countertops, and a stove/oven that has been here since before my mother graduated from high school. Have fun playing in the new kitchen when it's done :)

lucky you!! And look at that fridge there - just like ours all covered in kid-and-other-important-junk like that!!! I am sure the 2 weeks of chaos will be worth it :)
