52 week project {week 2}

here's my week 2 photo for the 52 week project. i'm enjoying this SO much!! this challenge, coupled with my get outside challenge has really helped me actually pull out the camera more & have fun with it. i know it sounds nutso because i'm a "scrapbooker" & all...but the whole taking pictures thing had really lost it's luster for me & i found myself not taking any. i just wanted to enjoy myself & not be "burdened" with more pictures clogging up my computer memory space & "to do" list of scrapping projects to get done.

but julie's post on the 52 week project's site really resonated with me. it's true...when i look at old photos i'm not scanning them for perfect hair & perfect composition...i'm searching them for long forgotten memories of the people i love.

so a'snappin' i will go!!!

Gorgeous pic and the SNOW! Reminds me of when I was an exchange student in Canada in another life. Love your outdoor challenge for 2011. Happy New Year!!
